Dr. Kunal Nandy

Dr. Kunal Nandy is a Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, and Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncologist and a formally trained robotic surgeon, with advanced expertise in open, laparoscopic, and robotic cancer surgery. His clinical practice combines technical precision with a strong academic focus, particularly in complex hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Gastrointestinal oncology.

An academically distinguished surgeon from the outset, Dr. Nandy was a rank holder in the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and completed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He pursued a Master of Surgery (General Surgery) at the same institute, where he developed strong operative fundamentals and contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications.

With a focused interest in pancreatic cancer and surgical oncology, Dr. Nandy secured an All India Rank 20 in the super-specialty entrance examination and completed his MCh in Surgical Oncology at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Ahmedabad. During this period, he independently performed over 500 oncological surgeries, encompassing gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, breast, soft-tissue, and retroperitoneal malignancies.
