Department Overview

Department of Anaesthesia prioritises comprehensive, precise, personalised, patient-centric care from preprocedural phase through recovery and rehabilitation: focusing on safety, comfort and enhanced recovery adhering to global standards.

The Department of Anaesthesia offers comprehensive care for oncology patients, encompassing a diverse range of services, including pre-surgical patient assessment and optimization, anaesthesia administration, critical care support, acute pain management, and interventional pain management.

Our patient care goes beyond anaesthetising patients for surgery inside the Operating room. This involves carefully tailoring the anaesthesia approach to the patient's specific health needs, factoring in the potential risks and complications during complex cancer procedures done for various cancer types.

Our involvement starts by keeping patients calm and pain free, aiding the expert team arrive at an early diagnosis. By caring for the critically ill in the ICU, till their post operative rehabilitation, we extend our constant support, across the entirety of the patient's cancer journey.
