About Dr. Das

Dr Nairita Das is a practising anaesthesiologist with an overall experience of 15 years. She has a wide experience in independently managing ASA 1 to 6 patients for a variety of complex surgical procedures. Her special interests include onco-anaesthesia, difficult airway management, TIVA, regional anaesthesia and quality improvement. She is a member of several national societies like ISA, SOAPC and AIDAA. Some of her research activities include Quality Improvement Project titled 'Striving to Improve Compliance to International Fasting Guidelines, Intra-operative hypotension with three different epidural infusions in patients undergoing laparotomy(RCT) and Comparison of a Novel Technique for Fibreoptic-guided Intubation through an I-gel® with the Aintree Technique. She has written book chapters in oncoanaesthesia textbooks and published 'How I do it' series with the Indian College of Anaesthetists. Her awards include Phanendranath Thota award for the Best Outgoing Resident of Anaesthesiology,Best Poster Award at National Airway Conference (AIDAA) 2025 at Udaipur among others.
